Custom-Shaped Infrared Heating Systems for Industrial Equipment
Industrial heating applications often require more than a standard infrared lamp. MIRRENO develops straight, curved and complex-shaped infrared heating elements around the customer's machine geometry, electrical requirements and production process.
The heater has to fit the process — and the machine.
Standard infrared heaters are effective when the equipment can accommodate conventional lamp geometry. Many industrial processes do not have that flexibility.
A production machine may require heat to follow a curved surface, surround a component, concentrate energy in selected areas or fit inside a tightly constrained mechanical envelope.
In these applications, heater design becomes part of the machine design.
Start with the customer's process, then design the infrared heater around it.
Instead of forcing the equipment to accommodate a standard heater, the infrared element can be developed around the actual heating zone, mechanical envelope, mounting locations and electrical requirements of the machine.
From straight tubes to complex three-dimensional heating paths.
Infrared elements can be configured to follow the geometry of the production equipment or target heating area.
- Straight infrared heating tubes
- Long-format heating elements
- U-shaped and multi-bend configurations
- Curved heating elements
- Circular and ring configurations
- Complex three-dimensional geometries
- Multi-element heating arrays
- Application-specific heating paths
Geometry is only one part of the heater design.
Electrical characteristics can also be configured around the customer's equipment and process requirements.
Depending on the application, design parameters may include operating voltage, heater power, heated length, overall dimensions, element configuration, electrical termination arrangement and heating-zone layout.
Individual heaters can become complete industrial heating assemblies.
Larger machines may require multiple infrared elements distributed across different heating zones. These elements can be arranged around tooling, mechanical structures and moving equipment while concentrating thermal energy where the production process requires it.
The result is a heating system developed as part of the equipment rather than a collection of standard heaters added afterward.
Built around industrial production requirements.
Custom infrared heating can support a wide range of industrial processes where controlled, localized or application-specific heating is required.
- Drying
- Curing
- Preheating
- Surface heating
- Coating processes
- Adhesive processing
- Forming processes
- Thermal treatment
- Production-line heating
- Specialized OEM equipment
Don't redesign the machine around the heater. Design the heater around the machine.
Industrial equipment frequently contains mechanical, electrical and thermal constraints that cannot be solved effectively with standard components. MIRRENO combines electrical engineering, thermal-system experience, mechanical integration and manufacturing resources to develop application-specific solutions around those constraints.
